Cardboard Brochure Stand

Just finished this to add to my cardboard product collection. It's quite robust and stable, very good for promotional events. It can be printed or laminated with different print material, however I recommend using just in raw cardboard, very environmentally friendly.

Finally finished this piece. Although I think it need a bit more detailing (blue and white lights and cut out and stuff) but I love the plane surfaces. (who needs window in the space...what you gona see any way.) So I call it done :)

Developed the cardboard business card holder further.

These new holders are more stable, simpler to assemble and come in 2 different sizes.

One of these days I just wana sit and sketch random stuff :| Noticed I haven't updated the blog for a while. There isn't really much going on, my sketch book is full of these random drawings, picked out these clean pages to show here just to keep this place alive. There is a piece of art work I really like to finish but I feel like I am missing some motivation.... tried from working in the restaurant.....I WANT SOME REAL DESIGN WORK......

Cardboard business card holder

Trying to tidy up my desk this morning. Saw all the business card lying around with out a place to go, decided to give it a stand. I have been obsessed with cardboard design ever since I saw the amazing designs from "Karton". So I picked up some of the packaging I saved up earlier and start to working on a business card stand :D

Reused some of the creases on the packaging and features, made some more creases and slots. Simply fold it together without any adhesives. 

The circle cut out is a nice feature for my business card!! (This is an old business card design, working on new one at the moment) 

The front of the holder holds business card I collect from other people and the back can be used to store my own cards.

This is only the first prototype of the design. some improvement needs to be made for example the creases needs to be cleaner, the front slide stopper needs to be a bit bigger. But over all it was a nice 1 1/2 hour work :D
